Hadid experimented with monochrome by tackling one of the toughest shades: nude. Wearing a skin-tone color all over can easily read as bland, or blah, but the model styled it in a way that felt completely elegant for an evening event. Celebrities and fashion insiders descended on the city to experience Nigeria Creative Week, a jam-packed celebration of talent on the African continent. The daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Samuel credits her heritage for sparking her obsession with style. “[Nigeria] is the land of great music, food, art, and cultural traditions. Traditions that have played a huge part in my love of color, art, and vibrant prints,” she says. Samuel took the opportunity to explore the city’s rich design scene, heading to Lekki Art Market to shop for objets d’art, hitting up the Ankara stalls in Balogun Market, and hanging out with friends: model Adesuwa Aighewi and rapper Skepta. Finally one that has real length sleeves and body. I normally wear a large in real men’s sizes, but many times have to get an XL in those metro or unisex sizes. I’m 6’3″ and 44 inch chest, 200lbs and the large goes a good 6-8 inches below my waist, has plenty (but not excessive) room in the shoulders and the sleeves don’t look like I’m wearing too small a size. My new favorite shirt.
