But once I took the Desperados Under The Eaves T-Shirt . train into the city and traded my Tims for Dr. Martens and I cut my hair short. I did more of a downtown look, and I realized there was so much more out there. And that continued to grow as I entered the business. I was exposed to Oribe and Kevyn Aucoin…[pauses amid cheers]…who worked with all of those supermodels I looked at in Vogue magazine as I took the train into the city. So when I had the opportunity to choose my hair and makeup artists for my first album cover shoot, magically, there I was in the room with them.
Desperados Under The Eaves T-Shirt, hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt
I also grew up with a deep love of Hollywood Desperados Under The Eaves T-Shirt . musicals from the ’40s and ’50s, the glitz and glamour of Ava Gardner and Marilyn Monroe…. So with those two doing my hair and makeup, and Andrea Lieberman, who was my stylist for so many years and exposed me not only to the designers of the day but also to those of the ’60s and ’70s—Halston, Balenciaga, Courrèges, Valentino, Alaïa—it was like a playground for me. A literal dream come true. I started making records in the ’90s in the era of the waif and the supermodel, but once I was introduced to those people, my life changed. Sitting in the design rooms of Oscar de la Renta and Versace, Gucci, and so many of you guys here tonight—people who designed and allowed me to get into their designs, for a woman with curves like me…to say I was like a kid in a candy store is an understatement. And slowly, curves began to be embraced, and girls wanted to combine street style with couture. I’m grateful to all of you for that. Too much jewelry was not enough jewelry. Some things never change. And of course my hoops; I can’t forget my signature hoops!

I like a shirt that is so thin and comfortable you do not know that you are wearing a shirt. I’m glad I found these, and I will be buying a lot more of them.

This shirt is so cute. The material is pretty thick (not see thru). I wore it with a black leather jacket and black skinnies. It’s super versatile to dress up or down too. I ordered a medium to be on the safe side, but I could have gone down to a small. The medium works, and isn’t baggy, but a little looser than I would like. Go get yourself one!

Basically what the headline says: this shirt is everything I wanted. It’s made of thicker, long lasting fabric with a well stitched construction. You won’t notice how poorly made fast-fashion shirts are until you get one that’s meant to last a loong looong time. I’ll probably pass this shirt onto my children. I am a tall, broad shouldered woman, and I got a large. I wanted a shirt to hang around the house in this shirt is loose and long enough to cover my butt, I love it!

For reference, and the large fits perfect! It’s SUCH a soft and comfortable top…you can barely feel it it’s so soft and Leigh’s weight. It’s also very flattering, especially the black one. I kind of want all the colors. The cross cross around the neck adds some trendiness. Love it
