You have NO clue what kind of starter he would be if Ben were to go down for an extended period.

The upside of Dobbs and Rudolph is much higher than Jones. “Jones knows the system” anyone can learn the system. At least the others are athletic enough to do something with it. Keeping him because he knows the system is ridiculous. That’s not enough to win games. And apparently, If you tackle the quarterback legally it’s roughing the passer. It’s going to be a long season if that rule is enforced like it was last night. I saw a lot of positives from plenty of individuals in this game. Kept s closer eye on the defense. This could be the best “no-name” defense in the league. Dobbs definitely has more upside than Jones who hasn’t lived up to his billing even though he has ridden the bench behind Ben. Keep DOBBS!!!! My boys, I love how Dobbs looked. Mason is going get better, I won’t be too happy if the Steelers cut Mason. He will learn from Dobbs and Ben. Our Defense looked strong- but we need work… But we will get it
