I try to be extra nice to people of  different races and religions because the atmosphere in America is so combative right now Randy Arozarena Too Cold Seattle T-Shirt . I feel compelled to do my part to try to fix things. I just want us all to be nice to each other. For my sake. For your sake and especially for our children.I feel a bit less silly knowing women are doing the same on the other side of the would-be divide. Here’s hoping that one day common sense will prevail and we’ll be able to leave the ambassadors to representing their people.I’m the speaker in the video! I’m blown away by the sheer amount of support and love. thank you all it means so much to me to receive support from strangers and  those who have a different identity from my own. What I expressed here is a weight that I’ve felt most of my life. As a visibly Muslim woman, it’s hard not to feel like a walking political statement and a representative. The weight of it all can be cumbersome and often I experience hatred from others that is derived from fear.
